Dorcas Haizel is a healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and business leader with a passion for building innovative solutions that improve healthcare education, workforce development, and organizational performance.
A graduate of McMaster University with a BScN, Dorcas brings extensive experience in healthcare operations, quality management, regulatory compliance, staff education, and leadership. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations overcome complex operational and compliance challenges by developing practical systems that improve accountability, efficiency, and quality outcomes.
As Founder and CEO of EduSetCare and ShiftMark, she leads the development of interconnected healthcare solutions designed to address two critical challenges facing the sector: workforce education, workforce coordination and subsequent compliance challenges. Linked innovatively through staff education and training, EduSetCare and ShiftMark educate, prepare and support healthcare professionals through accessible learning, competency development, and professional growth towards quality staffing, scheduling, workforce visibility and compliance management.
